Rider Training

Right Start motoring's Rider training courses are carried out on Lemoto ZSX 125's for our 17  year old students and Suzuki Gladius 650 cc for our 19 to 23 year old

and also our 24 year olds and over

Hourly lessons -   Right Start Motoring can offer   hourly training sessions if required, although we do recommend a minimum of 2 hours, this is more cost effective for the student and  has proved that overall the student learns at a faster pace (less time required to recap on previous lessons).

5 day intensive training courses - This training package comes with pre-booked Module 1 and Module 2 practical motorcycle tests,

This course is aimed at beginners  and usually starts on a Saturday with the final test on the Friday, alternative options are available,  for example this course can be broken down over 2 weekends, the choice is yours.

3,4 day course - is structured in the same lines as the 5 day course but is aimed at the rider who has had previous experience with the motorcycle, as per the 5 day course the practical tests will be pre-booked.

You can view  how the Driving Standard Agency Motorcycle practical test is structured by visiting www.direct.gov.uk/Motoring/LearnerAndNewDrivers/

Please note if attending an intensive course you will have to pass the motorcycle theory test prior to attending the course

Rusty Rider Course

The R & R course, (Rusty Riders)  has been produced for those riders who hold a full motorcycle licence but have not ridden for a while and would like to return to riding.

The Course - The Course is carried out over 1 day and is run on a one to one basis. The main syllabus of the course is based on your requirements and differs from rider to rider. The  training day consist of a brief period of re-familiarisation training at our off road training site followed by an on road assessment of your riding skills. The remainder of the day will be based on the on road assessment element,

Your instructor will debrief you on your performance during the on road assessment phase after which time an agreed plan of your training needs will be implemented.
